Resolution

1) To deal with successfully
2) To make clear or understandable
3) To reach a firm decision
4) To progress from dissonance to consonance

People arrive preprogrammed with an intense desire for it. It gets played out over and over again in stories, music and real life. I would even go so far as to say that the desire for love, acceptance, and justice all fall within its grasp.

It's tough to look at your own life and the world around you and see all of the issues that need resolution.

For me, the most fulfilling side of God is the side that one day "will set all things right."

Also, I really wish I was at the beach right now.

  1. Mmm. I like this blog alot.

I read a quote recently it said, "When you are waiting, you are not doing nothing (I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I'M DOING NOTHING WHEN I'M WAITING) You're allowing your soul to grow up."

And it doesn't apply completely to what you're talking about, but it just said to me that I wish for everything NOW, but lack of resolution NOW is ok.

I wish I was at the beach too.

  2. Thanks em.

Sometimes, I think it is really easy to feel like if I work hard enough, or I am clever enough, I should be able to resolve things. I like to feel like I can see myself making progress.

I think a little more patience would probably suit me.
